William Henry Canington's Obituary
William Henry Canington, 98, passed away at his home in Lumpkin, Georgia on August 13, 2019. He was born on November 28, 1920, in Clay County Georgia, to the late Dolphus Robert Canington and Carrie Bernice Long Canington.
William is preceded in death by both of his parents and his wife, Faye Partain Canington, one brother, Marvin Canington and four sisters, Myrtle, Mary Nora Beverly, Lorraine Perryman and Ruth Greene.
He is survived by his daughter, Billie Faye (David) Carney of Lumpkin Georgia; two grandsons, Jeff Carney of Lumpkin, Georgia and Mike (Amy) Carney of Waverly Hall, Georgia; one great-granddaughter, Montana Carney; one brother, Carl Canington of Mableton, Georgia; one sister, Carol Cox of Doerun, Georgia; and several nieces and nephews.
A Visitation Service will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2019, from 6 – 7 PM, at Baldwin Funeral Home in Richland, Georgia.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, August 16, 2019 at 11:00 AM, Eastside Cemetery in Lumpkin, Georgia, with the Reverends' Raymond Smith, Brooks Partain and Jack Ray officiating the service.
