Obituary

Samuel Patrick Shannon, 39, passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at his home in Preston, Georgia. Patrick was born on May 6, 1979, in Columbus, Georgia, to his parents, Chris Shannon and Patricia Moncus Shannon.
He is survived by his father, Chris (Bebe) Shannon of Preston, Georgia and his mother, Patricia Shannon of Richland, Georgia; his three brothers, Chase Shannon of Preston, Georgia, Chad (Kimberly) Norton of Hartwell, Georgia, Brandon (Keeli) Norton of Grantville, Georgia; several aunts and uncles; and many cousins.
Patrick graduated from South Georgia Technical College in Americus, Georgia, with a Draftsman's degree. He enjoyed his job, as a CAD Drafter (Computer-Aided Design Drafter) at Southern Wholesale Glass, in Americus, Georgia, where he started working in 2015.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM, on Friday, June 8, 2018, at the Preston City Cemetery in Preston, Georgia. The Reverend Raymond Smith and Mike McGlaun will officiate the service.
In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Patrick's memory to: Antioch Baptist Church, in care of Rena Cobb, 3789 Seminole Rd., Richland, GA 31825.
