Sam Allen Brown, 60, died on September 7, 2012, at his home in Americus, GA.

Sam was born in Elba, Alabama on April 10, 1952.  He is preceded in death by both of his parents, Richard G. Brown, Sr. and Gertrude Hall Brown; two brothers, James E. Brown and John Brown; and three sisters, Patsy Mackey, Sara Brown and Terah Wyan.

He is survived by his daughter, Wynonia Driver of Dawson, GA; two brothers, Richard Brown, Jr. and Charles Douglas Brown and three sisters, Doris Suba, Shirley Goodway and Naomi Rose.

During Sam's work career, he worked for the railroad, was a truck driver and an electrician.

A Graveside Service was held at Enterprise Church Cemetery on September 10, 2012, at 11:00 AM with the Reverend Melvin Slappy officiating.  Visitation with family and friends was held immediately before the service from 9:00 to 9:45 AM at Baldwin Funeral Home in Richland, GA.

Baldwin Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
