Ronnie Lamar Yancey, Sr, 65, died August 3, 2012 at the Medical Center Hospital in Columbus, GA.  He was born January 20, 1947 in Columbus, Ga.  Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Louie Vernon Yancey and Laura Burdelle Cox Bowling.

He is survived by his wife, Floria Threats Yancey; three sons, Ronnie Lamar Yancey, Jr., Christopher Tom Yancey and Vernon Lamar Yancey; three daughters, Mary Arlene Denise Reeves, Cynthia Burdelle Glover and Helen Ramona Yancey, many grandchildren and a niece and nephew.

Ronnie and his wife, Floria lived in the Brooklyn community.  He retired as an electronic tech from Jake Price Radio Sales in Columbus, GA.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday evening, August 10, 2012, at 7:00 PM, at Baldwin Funeral Home Chapel in Richland, GA.
