Ronald George Horne "Butch", 70, of Richland, Georgia, passed away on April 4, 2016, at the St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Georgia.

A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2016, at 2:00 PM, at the Red Hill Cemetery, in Richland, Georgia. The service will be conducted by the Reverend Robert Orr. Visitation with family and friends will be held after the service.

Butch was born on January 21, 1946, in Richland, Georgia, to the late George Horne and the late Myrtle Murrah Horne. He served in the United States Marines and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was retired from the CSX Railroad. He was also a member of the Richland United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Nelson Horne; his daughter, Traci Horne Winchester and her husband, Dr. James Winchester; and two granddaughters, Lilly and Lexi Winchester.

Flowers will be accepted but those so desiring may make memorial contributions to the Stewart Webster Cancer Fund, Inc., 6381 Hamilton St., Preston, GA. 31824 or to your favorite charity.
