Richard Harris Patterson,  25, died on Wednesday, November 6, 2013, at the Medical Center Hospital in Columbus, Georgia.  He was born March 7, 1988 in Columbus, Georgia to Lynn Roland Patterson Parks and the late J.C. Patterson.

Richard is preceded in death by his father and his grandparents, Lamar and Barbara Roland.

Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Summerall Patterson of Lumpkin, Georgia; his mother, Lynn (Andy) Parks of Lumpkin, Georgia; step-father Paul Norman of Lumpkin, Georgia; three sisters, Jennifer James of Lumpkin, Georgia, Mollie Parks of Columbus, Georgia and Katie Parks of Lumpkin, Georgia; one niece, Scarlet James of Lumpkin, Georgia; and his grandmother, Winnie Patterson of Lumpkin, Georgia.

Visitation with his family and friends was held on Friday evening, November 8, 2013, from 7:00 – 8:00 PM.

A Graveside Service was held on Saturday morning , November 9, 2013, at 11:00  AM, Northside Cemetery in Lumpkin, Georgia, with the Reverend Jack Ray officiating.
