Raymond Arlion Morrison, 69, of Columbus, Georgia, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022.

A chapel service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 22, 2022, in the Edgewood Hall Chapel at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Raymond was born February 16, 1952 in Columbus, Georgia, to the late Arlion Monroe and Rosie Mae Morrison.

He was a former fireman for the Columbus Fire Department. He started his own construction company. Raymond was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved his grandkids, the outdoors and his two dogs, Coco and Molly. He enjoyed cooking and hosting family gatherings.

Raymond is preceded in death by both of his parents, Arlion and Rosie Morrison, two brothers, Jackie and Mark Morrison and one sister-in-law, Kathy Morrison.

He is survived by his two daughters, Angelica Morrison and Wendy Morrison; four grandchildren, Dalton (Lily) Medlin, Misti Robbins, Lindsie Robbins, Anna Medlin; three brothers, Tommy, Rusty and Donnie (Debbie) Morrison; three sisters, Donna (Marty) Roy, Jean (Billy) Overby, Teresa Shaw; two sister-in-laws, Michelle Morrison and Wanda Morrison; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Raymond will truly be missed by his family and friends.
