Nancy Louwycie "YC" Hughes Patterson, 63, died on August 19, 2016, at the Phoebe Sumter Medical Hospital in Americus, Georgia. She was born on September 17, 1952, in Richland, Georgia, to the late Gilbert Hughes and the late Mary Ivey Fussell Hughes.

She is survived by her husband, George Hubert Patterson of Preston, Georgia, two sons, Bill (Jessica) Patterson of Centerpoint, Georgia, George (Sheila) Patterson of Sylvester, Georgia; two daughters, Bailey Patterson of Americus, Georgia, Amanda (Steve) Barfield of Newton, Georgia; her brother, Fussell (Elise) Hughes of Albany, Georgia; five grandchildren, Kullen Wooddell, Summer Wooddell, Hannah Patterson, Summer Johnson, Ivey Patterson.

"YC" lead a full life for her 63 years. She styled hair in Centerpoint and had Sybil Carter as one of her clients. She then studied and became an LPN Nurse. She had worked at Four County Health & Rehab in Richland, Georgia, Plains Nursing Home in Plains, Georgia, and Palmyra Nursing Home in Albany, Georgia.
"YC" loved going to watch Hubert at the dirt track car races. Everyone knew not to talk or bother her while she watched Hubert make his laps. "YC" family and friends said she was a great cook. She enjoyed quilting and fishing. She was known for going bare foot as much as possible! She loved and enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and grandchildren.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Monday evening, August 22, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Baldwin Funeral Home in Richland, Georgia.

A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, August 23, 2016, at 2:00 P.M., Macedonia Cemetery, in Centerpoint, Georgia. The Reverends'' Robert Orr and Raymond Smith will conduct the service.
