Maynard Jackson Hart aged 70 years peacefully passed away in his home surrounded by his family in Lumpkin Georgia on August 23, 2012.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Betty Jean Hart, and his five children: Woodrow Lincoln Hart, L. D. Hart, Susan Marie Leach, Anna Marie DeLuca, and Maynard Jackson Hart, Jr.  Also 12 grandchildren, five great grandchildren, his sister Rita Summerlin, and his adopted sons, Richard A. Downing and Ronald E. Westberry.

No services were held as a private memorial service will be held with close family and friends at a later date.  He will be laid to rest near the St. James River in Florida.

Baldwin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
