Matibel Brightwell Reed, 89, died May 25, 2014, at Four County Health & Rehab in Richland, GA.
Matibel was born in Webster County, GA, February 28, 1925 to Jess Sims Brightwell and Mary Leon Patterson. She was the widow of Oscar Rex Reed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a brother, Milton Wade Brightwell.
Matibel is survived by a sister, Glenwodyne Brightwell (Millard) Kennedy of Preston, GA; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation with family and friends will be held on Monday evening, May 26, 2014, from 6:00 – 7:00 PM, at Baldwin Funeral Home, 50 Charles Overby Dr., Richland, GA.
A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, May 27, 2014, 11:00 AM, at Weston Baptist Cemetery in Weston, GA.
