Ms. Margaret Elizabeth Rogers, 76, passed away on April 6, 2020, in Columbiana, Alabama.  She was born on March 2, 1944 in Amsterdam, New York to the late Everett Lloyd Rogers and Margaret Bath Rogers.

Margaret worked for the Department of Human Resources for many years. Her great work at DHR gave many families an opportunity for a wonderful life.

Besides enjoying working in her yard, planting flowers and learning about flowers, she loved spending time with her only granddaughter, Eleanor Elizabeth.  Everyone that knew Margaret had a great love for animals.  She had a tender heart when it came to animals, each one she came into contact with she knew they had a story and a need for love.

Ms. Rogers is survived by her daughter: Mariana Rogers Key; sisters: Jean Rogers Huffstutler and Hope A. Buchanan; grandchild: Eleanor Elizabeth Key; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Ms. Rogers will be laid to rest in their family plot at the Lebanon Cemetery in Plains, Georgia on Friday, April 10, 2020, at 2:00 PM.  Only immediate family allowed.
