Lorene Pearce Byrd's Obituary
Lorene Pearce Byrd, 87, of Lumpkin, Georgia, died on Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at her home in Lumpkin, Georgia.
Lorene was born in Stewart County Georgia on March 25, 1928, to Daniel Samuel Pearce and Mary Joe Halliday Pearce.
Lorene is preceded in death by both of her parents, her brothers, Halliday Pearce, Marvin Pearce, Frank Pearce, Edgar Pearce and her sister, Marion Pearce Westbrook.
She was a life-long resident of Stewart County. Mrs. Lorene was a retired beautician.
Survivors include her husband, Jack Dempsey Byrd, Sr. of Lumpkin, Georgia; her son, Jack D. Byrd, Jr., (Kay Mitchell) of Atlanta, Georgia; and her daughter, Sandra B. (Lee) Jordan of Columbus, Georgia; three grandchildren, Jeremy Jordan, Shera Jordan and Brandon Jordan; and one great grandchild, Alexis Jordan
A Visitation Service will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2015, from 1:30 – 2:30 PM, at Baldwin Funeral Home.
The Chapel Service will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2015, at 3:00 PM, at the Baldwin Chapel, with a private family burial at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Union, Georgia.
