Obituary

Kathryn Huddleston Perryman, 82, of Richland, Georgia, passed away on April 24, 2014, at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Georgia.

Mrs. Kathryn was born in Stewart County Georgia on May 21, 1931 to James (Jim) Dennis Huddleston and Annie Loraine Harris.

She was married to Roy Perryman.

The Perryman's were widely known for the large antique Auctions that were held in Richland, Georgia for many years. They, along with Mr. Perryman's brother, Wiley, held antique auctions that would bring buyers from many states to bid on unique items. You were always excited attending the auctions because you never knew what treasures you would find to bid on during the auctions!

She is preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband, Roy; one brother, James Dennis "Dick" Huddleston; and one sister, Ruth Whipkey. Mrs. Kathryn lived in Stewart County her entire life except for the 14 years she lived in Randolph County Georgia.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Andy and Fay Perryman of Richland; one grandson, Randy (Ashley) Perryman of Lumpkin, GA; two great grandchildren, Andrew and Payton Perryman of Lumpkin, GA; and one sister, Maudie Franks of Fortson, GA.

A Visitation Service with family and friends was held on Friday evening, April 25, 2014, from 6:00 - 7:30 PM, at Baldwin Funeral Home. A Graveside Service was held on Saturday, April 26, 2014, at 4:00 PM, at the Harmony Cemetery in Richland, Georgia, with the Reverend Raymond Smith officiating.

Pallbearers were: Roy Mims, Jr, Scotty Mims, Al Shropshire, Mark Whipkey and Scott Burks.

In lieu of flowers: donations to the Four County Health & Rehab, i.e. the Activity Fund, would be appreciated.

The Family wishes to thank the Four County Health & Rehab, the nurses, technians and workers for the excellent care and love that Mrs. Kathryn received during her stay. She enjoyed talking to residents, guests and family when they visited. She always looked forward to the Activity time at the Center.
