Karel Sue Reed Abner, 70 of Columbus, GA died August 9, 2016 at the Columbus Specialty Hospital. She was born December 15, 1945 in Champagne, IL to the late Raymond Reed and Madonna Reed formerly of Richland, GA.

She is survived by a daughter Diane (Terry) Harrell of Preston, and a son, Jack (Julianne) James of Parrott. Five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, once niece, Karel (Mike) Jones of Lady's Island, SC and one great nephew. Two sisters Sharon Reed of Albany, GA and Linda (Ron) Provencher of Richland. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Tommy Abner.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Lewis Baldwin Funeral Home in Richland, GA. Graveside Services will be held at Red Hill Cemetery on Friday, August 12, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Red Hill community.

Donations can be made in lieu of flowers to the charity of your choice.
