Joe Bolivar Peek, Jr., (Bob), 65, of Louvale, Georgia, passed away on May 19, 2016, at Columbus Hospice, in Columbus, Georgia. He was born on February 12, 1951, in Stewart County Georgia, to Joe Bolivar Peek, Sr. and Betty Perry Peek.

Bob is preceded in death by his three brothers, Lynn Peek, Phil Peek and Don Peek.

He is survived by his wife, Janice Bentley Peek of Louvale, Georgia; his daughter Sallie Peek (Chad) Long of Louvale, Georgia; his grandson, Bentley Long of Louvale, Georgia; and his parents, Joe Peek Sr. and Betty Perry Peek of Louvale, Georgia; and his sister, Betty Jo (Gordon) Smith of Louvale, Georgia.

Bob had worked as a Forrester for the West Rock Company for many years. His time in the outdoors was always special time for him. When Bentley was born the joys of being a grandfather hit him hard. He loved to see Bentley growing. Bob had lived his entire life in Stewart County, Louvale.

A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2016, at 4:00 PM, at the Louvale Cemetery. The Reverend Robert Orr will conduct the services. Music played during the service was by Vince Gill, "Go Rest High on that Mountain".
