Jesse Frank Murrah, Jr, (Frankie), 70, passed away Friday, June 21, 2013, at the Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus GA.

Frankie was born in Richland, GA, on August 16, 1942 to Jesse Frank Murrah, Sr. and Inez Wiley Wall.  He graduated from Richland High School in 1960 and from The University of Georgia in 1965.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a Master Mason.

Frankie is survived by his wife, Mary Lucy of 24 years, four children:  Mark V. Murrah, Jesse Frank Murrah III, Mary Elizabeth Conly and Margaret Inez Holt, seven grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Frankie will be laid to rest at an 11:00 AM Graveside Service, at Harmony Cemetery in Richland, Georgia on Monday, June 24, 2013.  The Reverends Robert Orr and Stan Balew will preside over the service.
