Jean Cole Roland, 90, passed away at Columbus Hospice on Friday, March 14, 2025, with her family surrounding her.  She was born on September 8, 1934, in Georgetown, Georgia, to the late Fred Albert Cole and Georgia L. Johnson Cole.

Jean is preceded in death by both her parents, her husband, Raymond Roland and all but one of her siblings.

She is survived by her children:  Ricky (Tammy) Roland of Ellaville, Georgia, Mike (Terri) Roland of Phenix City, Alabama, Ronnie Roland of Cuthbert, Georgia, six grandchildren, Ryan Roland, Brett (Jordan) Roland, Brandi Roland, Kelly (Joey) Stephens, Rick (Morgan) Roland, Tori Roland, several great grandchildren, sister, Alice Rachel, her very special friend, Bernice McBride and her beloved and faithful dog, Peanut.

Jean loved the Lord and her church, Bland Baptist.  She enjoyed being with her family and watching several favorite television shows, especially her soap operas.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at Old Louvale Church Row Cemetery, in Louvale, Georgia, with Nicholas Page officiating the service and Gary Chestnut providing music.

In Lieu of Flowers donations may be made in Jean's name to the Louvale Cemetery Fund in care of Gladys Ann Pate, 650 Old Louvale Rd, Lumpkin, GA 31815
