James (Larry) Bass, 68, of Richland, Ga, died at his home on Wednesday, January 11, 2012.
Larry was born January 24, 1943, inCuthbert,GA. He was the son of the late Willard Bass and the late Mildred Moore.
Mr. Bass is survived by his wife, Kimberly Adams Bass of Richland, GA; four sons, Jamey Bass of Columbus, GA, Michael (Geneva) Bass of Richland, GA, Mark (Mandi) Bass of Columbus, GA, Jim Bonar of Norfolk, VA, a daughter, Rachal Bonar of Americus, GA, a sister, Joanne Bowles of Lumpkin, GA, and seven grandchildren.
A Visitation with the family will be held Sunday, January 15, 2012 from 3:00 - 5:00 PM, at Baldwin Funeral Home in Richland, GA. The Graveside Service with interment will be conducted at Northside Cemetery in Lumpkin, GA, Monday, January 16, 2012, at 11:00 AM, with the Reverends' Robert Orr, Mark Williams and Wayne Williams officiating. Martha Jordan will sing, "Amazing Grace" and play the keyboard with "How Great Thou Art", Kim Kimmel will sing, "He Touched Me", and Wanda Singer will play several musical selections on the keyboard.
Pallbearers are: Jim Doster, Lynton Welch, David Dunaway, Benny West, John Cox, Phil Hite, Gerald McGlaun.
