Glendell Roy Moore died on August 18, 2026, at Piedmont Medical Hospital in Columbus, Georgia. He was born on February 18, 1941, in Okaloosa County, Florida, to the late James Reece Moore and Rosa Lee Locke Moore.

He is survived by his son, Brian Moore.

Roy is preceded in death by both of his parents.

Roy served in the United States Army.
