Frank Oliver Lofton, 83, died at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus, Georgia, on June 28, 2019.  He was born on September 11, 1935, at Ft. Gaines, Georgia, to the late Mose Lofton and Vera Mitchell Lofton.

Frank is preceded in death by both of his parents, his wife, Essie Hobbs Lofton, one brother, Emmett D. Lofton and three sisters, Marthell Cook, Joyce Addison, Ima Jean Rucker.

A Visitation Service will be held on Sunday evening, June 30, 2019, from 5:00 to 6:00 pm, at Baldwin Funeral Home in Richland, Georgia.

The Church Service will be held on Monday afternoon, July 1, 2019, at 2:00 pm, at Richland First Baptist Church in Richland, Georgia, with burial in Harmony Cemetery in Richland, Georgia.

He is survived by his two daughters, Clara Louise (Tommy) Hunter of Preston, Georgia and Barbara Ann Baker of Ellaville, Georgia; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and 10 nieces and nephews.
