Frances Thomas Potter, 91, died on July 30, 2015, at the Gentiva Hospice in Columbus, Georgia. She was born on May 5, 1924 in Humphreys County Tennessee, to the late John Wesley Thomas and Nellie Gertrude Anderson Thomas.

Frances was preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband, Ray Mayberry Potter; two brothers; and six sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Alice (Toby) Hamilton of Lumpkin, Georgia; a sister, Betty Thomas; seven grandchildren; eight great- grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
