Frances Mayo Chalkley, 81, born in Richland, GA, died in Johns Creek, GA, on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Sunrise Assisted Living Facility in Johns Creek, GA.
Frances was born January 2, 1933, in Stewart County Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Earl Atkinson Mayo and Nona Bush Mayo Saville. She was a graduate of Florida State with a BA degree. Frances was retired from Prudential Atlanta Realty, where she worked as a real estate agent.
Frances is preceded in death by both of her parents, her son, Joel Chalkey and a brother, Dr. Earl Mayo.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Chalkley of Johns Creek, GA, and two daughters, Susan Chalkley Sellers of Suwanee, GA and Gale Mayo of Suwanee, GA; and one brother, William (Bill) Mayo of Richland, GA.
A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday morning, 11:00 AM, at Harmony Cemetery in Richland, Georgia.
