Faye Partain Canington, 96, died September 14, 2014, at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Georgia. She was born on February 10, 1918 in Paulding County Georgia to the late Thomas J. Partain and Dovie Mosley Partain.
Faye was preceded in death by both her parents and her sister, Ruth Trotman.
She is survived by her husband, William, her daughter, Billie C. (David) Carney of Lumpkin, Georgia and one brother Brooks (Ann) Partain of Americus, Georgia; two grandchildren, Jeff Carney, Mike Carney; and one great grandchild, Montana Carney.
Faye was a member of the Lumpkin Baptist Church.
The family will receive visitors at Baldwin Funeral Home on Monday evening, September 15, 2014, from 6:00 – 7:00 PM. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2014, at 11:00 AM, at Eastside Cemetery Lumpkin, Georgia.
