Elbeth Razz
Shierling
May 2, 1952 – April 13, 2019
Razz was a graduate of Stewart County High School in Lumpkin, Georgia. While in high school, Razz participated in several sports; basketball, baseball and track. He attended Georgia Southwestern University in Americus, Georgia.
He is survived by his wife, Mary "Tippie" Youngblood Shierling of Americus, Georgia, his two daughters, Mary-Margaret (Adam) Fox of Americus, Georgia and Catherine Shierling of Columbus, Georgia; one granddaughter, Piper Elizabeth Fox of Americus, Georgia; his brother, Marion Shierling of Lumpkin, Georgia; several nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins.
Razz had been employed by Churchhill Trucking Company in Preston, Georgia. B eing with and spending time with his wife, daughters and granddaughter was what Razz enjoyed in life.
A Visitation Service with family and friends was held on Thursday, April 18, 2019, from 3:00 – 3:45 pm, at Baldwin Funeral Home in Richland, Georgia.
A Chapel Memorial Service was held Thursday, April 18, 2019, at 4:00 pm, at the Baldwin Funeral Home Chapel, in Richland, Georgia. The Reverend Dan Smith conducted the service. Razz enjoyed music and several of his favorite songs were played during the service.
