Edgar Andrew Robertson, Jr., 88, died on Saturday, March 16, 2013, at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus, GA.

Edgar was born in Tuscaloosa, AL, on October 28, 1924.  He was preceded in death by both of his parents, Edgar Andrew Robertson, Sr and Hallie Robertson.  Edgar and his wife Betty moved to this area from Winter Garden, FL in June 2012.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Adams Robertson of Richland, GA, and his daughter, Patricia (Rick) Andrews of Preston, GA.

Edgar was a Navy Veteran and served as a Navy Pilot during World War II.  He had been employed as a salesman for the Gulf Oil Company.

A Memorial Service will be held in Florida on Saturday March 23, 2013.
