Earnest "Buddy" "Papa" Sizemore, 76, died on April 1, 2016, at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Georgia. He was born on August 27, 1939, in Cusseta, Georgia to the late Thomas Franklin "Pete" Sizemore and Johnnie Lee Curlee Sizemore.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Agnes K. Grundler Sizemore, two sons, Paul C. Biddle and Fred W. Biddle, five brothers, John F. Sizemore, George Albert Sizemore, David R. Sizemore, Robert Lee Sizemore, Herman H. Sizemore and two sisters, Frances Sizemore Myers and Elizabeth Sizemore.

Earnest is survived by his two daughters, Diane (Jesse) Duraso and Debbie Biddle (Jimmy) Shealy and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Buddy was a resident of Chattahoochee County, Georgia all of his life. He was a member of the Baptist Church. Buddy was retired as a mechanic from Tire Exchange and Auto Service in Columbus, Georgia.

Buddy was a veteran of the United States Navy where he served as an underwater welder.

A Visitation with family and friends will be held on Sunday evening, April 3, 2016, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM, at Baldwin Funeral Home in Richland, Georgia.

The Graveside Service will be held Monday, April 4, 2016, at 3:00 PM, Mt. Olive Cemetery, in Cusseta, Georgia. The Reverend Lee Halvorson will conduct the service.
