Earl Wilson Marchbanks, Jr., 82, died July 31, 2016, at his home in Webster County Georgia.
Earl was born on March 13, 1934 in Muscogee County Georgia, to the late Earl Wilson Marchbanks, Sr and Ruby Spence Marchbanks.
He is preceded in death by both of his parents and his sister, Edna Selser.
Earl served the United States of America Navy and was a Veteran of the Korean War and Viet Nam. He served from 1952 to 1973 and retired as a Chief E-7.
Earl was retired from L & S Services of Ft. Benning where he was the Supply Manager.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Marie Carroll Marchbanks; his son, Raymond (Joy) Marchbanks of Richland, Georgia; his three daughters, Donna (Bill) Allen of Fayeville, North Carolina, Vonna (Doug) Franks of Columbus, Georgia, Teresa (Greg) Rand of Ringgold, Georgia; his sister, Martha Bailey of Idaho; 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
A Visitation Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Baldwin Funeral Home in Richland, Georgia, with the Chapel Service following immediately at 12 noon, in the Baldwin Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at the Antioch Baptist Church on 7507 Seminole Road, Richland, Georgia. The Reverends' Doug Franks and John Coffey will conduct the service. Earl will receive full Navy military services.
