Dorothy Stephens Harry's Obituary
Dorothy Stephens Harry, 93, of Preston, Georgia, died on September 9, 2018 at Perfect Care, in Americus, Georgia. She was born on June 12, 1925 in Stewart County, Georgia, to the late Jesse Paul Stephens and Nannie Ruffin Stephens.
Dorothy was retired from Manhattan Shirt Company of Americus, Georgia and had worked as a seamstress.

Dorothy is preceded in death by both of her parents, her loving husband, William Webster Harry; five brothers and one sister.
Dorothy is survived by her son, William Walter "Buddy" (Jeanett) Harry of Preston, Georgia; her three daughters, Sybil (Alfred) Hudson of Parrott, Georgia, Shirley Chancellor and her dog Toby of Preston, Georgia, Diane (William) Roquemore of Forsyth, Georgia; 12 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and 12 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2018, from 1:00 to 1:45 PM, at Baldwin Funeral Home in Richland, Georgia.
A Chapel Service will be held Wednesday, September 12, 2018, at 2:00 PM, at Baldwin Funeral Home, with burial at Shiloh Marion Cemetery, Buena Vista, Georgia. The service will be officiated by Tad Harry, Clyde Grimsley, with Karen Harrod speaking on the love of Nanna. Jesse Welch will sing, "How Great Thou Art", "The Old Rugged Cross" and Amazing Grace".
The video, "Serenaded By Angels" by Kirk Talley will be played in memory of Mrs. Dorothy.
Dorothy's grandsons will serve as her pallbearers.
