Doris Lanell Cook's Obituary
Doris Lanell McMickle Cook, 91, died on Wednesday, August 28, 2019, in Spring Hill Health and Rehab in Spring Hill, Florida. Born in Charing, Georgia, on October 18, 1927, Doris was the daughter of the late P. J. McMickle and Nona Edwards McMickle.
Doris is survived by son, Hamer Cook, Jr; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2019, at 2:00 PM, at Enterprise Baptist Church Cemetery in Richland, Georgia. The Reverends' Tim Cadenhead and Robert Orr will be officiating the service.
Doris was retired from working in sales. She moved to Florida when her son, Hamer moved to Florida to work. When Doris was able, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
