Dianne Harper Manderson, 61, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Georgia. She was born November 28, 1952, in Pitt County, North Carolina, to Walter Lee Harper and Dorothy June Cauley Harper.
Dianne is preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Water Lee Harper, Jr.
Survivors include her husband, William Mike Manderson; three daughters, Teresa D. Singleton of Columbus, GA, Melinda Kay Morris of Temple, TX, Crystal Powell (Benjamin Lee) Desormo of Bushnell, FL; one brother, Stanley Frank Harper of Snow Hill, NC ; three sisters, Becky Harper Wethington of Kingston, NC, Betty Jo Drum of Deer Run, NC, Shannon Harper (Stephen) Mooring of Snow Hill, NC; three grandchildren, Lindsey Nicole Foster, Leah "Addison" Desormo, Ethan "Lee" Desormo; and one great grandchild, Loyla Nicole Foster. Dianne had many nieces and nephews.
Dianne was a dedicated employee for Jay Automotive Group for 26 years in Columbus, Georgia.
Visitation with her family and friends will be held on Friday afternoon, June 20, 2014, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM, with a Chapel Service at 4:00 PM, at Baldwin Funeral Home, 50 Charles Overby Dr., Richland, GA 31825. The Reverend Robert Orr will officiate the services, with Burial in the Preston City Cemetery, in Preston, Georgia.
