Obituary

Charles Raymond "Ray" Miller, Jr., 63, passed away on January 6, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Georgia.  He was born on April 28, 1957 in Richland, Georgia, to the late Charles Raymond Miller, Sr. and Frances Williams Miller.

He is preceded in death by his father and a brother, Randy Miller.

Ray is survived by his wife, Dianne Harris Miller; two sons, Trey Miller of Louvale, Georgia and Brandon (Jessica) Miller of Desoto, Georgia; one daughter, Bethany Miller of Louvale, Georgia; five grandchildren, Braylyn Miller, Dalton Miller, Lawson Miller, Lyric Miller, Sophie Miller; and one sister, Patty (Lennox) Escobar of Columbus, Georgia.

Ray was retired from Snap On Industrial where he worked as a maintenance technician for 27 years.  He was loved and respected by his coworkers.  Ray loved to hunt and fish. He loved to shoot archery and shoot sport and clay.  He participated and won many tournaments.

Above all else, Ray loved his family.  Ray loved being with his family and friends, especially spending time with his grandchildren.

A Memorial Graveside Service will be held on Sunday afternoon, January 10, 2021, at 2:00 PM, at Newhope Baptist Cemetery in Louvale, Georgia.  The Reverend Robert Orr will officiate the service.

In Lieu of Flowers donation may be made in Ray's name to the Stewart Webster Cancer Fund,  6381 Hamilton Street, Preston, GA 31824
