Caridad Sierra Roque "Carrie"

Caridad Sierra Roque, 71, died on Saturday afternoon, December 30, 2017, at Phoebe Sumter Regional Hospital, in Americus, Georgia. She was born on January 17, 1946, in Ybor City, Florida, to Peter Sierra Sr. and Ignacia "Nina" Leon Sierra. Carrie is preceded in death by both of her parents, brother's Angel Benitez, Nicolas Benitez Jr., John Benitez, and Danilo Benitez.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph Roque Sr.; two sons, Ralph (Evie) Roque, Jr. of Tampa, Florida, Randy (Michelle) Roque of Tampa, Florida; two grandchildren, Christen Roque, Shannon Roque; one great grandchild, Caylex Roque-Copper; her step-mother Martha Sierra and three brothers, Rene Benitez, Peter Sierra Jr. , Albert Sierra.

Carrie and her husband Ralph, moved to the Parrott, Georgia area after retirement nine years ago from the Tampa Bay area. She was a born again Christian and member of Faith Outreach Church in Tampa, Florida. Carrie was the foundation and glue of her family whom loved the Lord. Her passion was faith, family and friends and they were all the center of her very being. She had a heart of pure gold and would never turn anyone away. Carrie was devoted to the Lord and spreading His love and word by ministering to those around her. She was also a self-employed hairdresser and stay at home mother. Carrie took pride in her home with open doors to all whom needed it with healing food on the table. Ralph and Carrie just celebrated their 54th Wedding Anniversary November 10th, 2017 but had been together 57 years. Ralph was her "Honey Bunny" and she his "Kookie".

A Celebration of Life will be planned by the family at a later date and held in Tampa Bay area.
