Galbraith, Billie E. M/SGT (E-8) Retired, 90, Cusseta, GA died September 8, 2016 Funeral service (Graveside) will be Sunday, September 11, 2016, at 2 PM at Harmony Cemetery Cusseta, GA, 100 Old Louvale Rd.

Family will receive visitors, Saturday, September 10, 2016, from 6 until 8 PM at Baldwin Funeral Home, Richland, GA.

Sgt. Galbraith was born May 31, 1926 in Kingston, TN to the late George and Stella Galbraith. He retired from the Army with 26 years of service. He was a WWII and Vietnam Veteran. Among other rewards he received the Bronze Star, Army Commendation Medal W/2 Oak Leaf Clusters and combat infantryman's badge and numerous campaign ribbons. He was an avid lifetime New York Yankees fan.

Preceding him in death other than his parents were two brothers, Hal and Buddy Galbraith.

Survivors are his wife of 68 years Lillie; four children, Susan Turley, David (Gene) Galbraith, Linda Ward and James (Jimmy) Galbraith; a brother, Jerry Galbraith; two sisters, Betty Galbraith, Ann Jordan; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
