Betty Adams Robertson, 83, died Wednesday, February 25, 2014, at Four County Nursing & Rehab, in Richland, GA.  She was born July 27, 1930, in Cottonwood, AL., to the late Oakley Adams and Nellie Adams.  She is preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband, Edgar Robertson; and a son, John Robertson.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Rick) Andrews of Preston, GA.; and two sisters, Bronnie Sanders of Plymouth, FL., and Shirley Merriel of Plymouth, FL.  Betty has six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Robertson was retired from the Wells Fargo Banking Company.  She was instrumental in the opening of the John Knox Village Branch of the Wells Fargo Bank, in Deland, FL., where she was named Branch Manager.  She was the Bank Manager for many years until her retirement.  Betty enjoyed traveling with her sister and husband after she retired from the banking community.

While Betty lived at Four County Nursing & Rehab, she had bird feeders set up outside her windows.  She became very interested in all the different varieties of birds that would visit her feeders.  Her only uninvited guest was a cat that would sit on her window sill and wait on "her" birds.

The Family received family and friends at Baldwin Funeral Home, 50 Charles Overby Dr., in Richland, GA, on Thursday, February 27, 2014, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM.  A Church Service was held at the Northside Baptist Church in Apopka, FL., with entombment on March 2, 2014, at the Edgewood/Greenwood Cemetery.
