Benjamin S. Fussell, Jr., 81, died at Vista Care, Columbus, GA, on Sunday, September 25, 2011.  Mr. Fussell was born January 14, 1930 in Webster County Georgia.  He was preceded in death by both of his parents, Benjamin S. Fussell, Sr. and Mattie Elizabeth Stapleton, also by a sister, Charlie Fussell and a brother, Jim Fussell.

Survivors include his wife, Sybil McGlaun Fussell of Preston, GA; three daughters, Kay (Elmer) Faust of Roberta, GA, Philda (Jackie) Hunter of Leesburg, GA and Benee (Richard) Morris of Dason, GA; one son, Stan (MiLinda) Fussell of Preston, GA; two sisters, Callie Dacus of Richland, GA and Delie Dacus of Richland, GA; a granddaughter, Amy Hardage and grandsons, Allen Faust, Clint, Brett and Chad Hunter, Jeremy Morris, and Eric, Brad and Ryan Fussell.  Mr. Ben had numerous great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 28, 2011, at Macedonia Baptist Church, Centerpoint, GA.  Graveside services will follow with interment in the Church Cemetery.  The Rev. Robert Orr and Rev. Wallace Willis will officiate the services with Wynona Jones singing, "If We Never Meet Again, this Side of Heaven".  Pallbearers are Mr. Ben's grandsons:  Allen Faust, Clint, Brett and Chad Hunter, Jeremy Morris, and Eric, Brad and Ryan Fussell.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, September 27, 2011, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM, at Baldwin Funeral Home.
