Alice Marie Carroll Marchbanks, 85, passed away on December 3, at her home.  She was born on May 3, 1938, in Benson, North Carolina, to the late Fletcher Carroll and Mildred Barbour Carroll.

Marie was preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband, Earl Marchbanks, and seven brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her son, Raymond (Joy) Marchbanks of Richland, Georgia, her three daughters, Donna (Bill) Allen of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Vonna (Doug) Franks of Columbus, Georgia, Teresa (Greg) Rand of Ringgold, Georgia; and 14 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held at Baldwin Funeral Home, from 11:00 – 12:00 PM on Wednesday, December 6, 2023.

A Church Service will be held on December 6, 2023, at 1:00 PM, at Antioch Baptist Church, 5355 Seminole Rd,  in Richland, Georgia.  Burial will be at Antioch Baptist Church.  The Reverend Mike McGlaun will officiate the service with Patrick Cobb singing a couple of Marie's favorite songs. Connor Holstein will provide special music.  Chad McLamb will speak on behalf of the family.
