Albert
Bradshaw, Junior, 86, passed away at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia, on August 1, 2021. He was born on August 10, 1934, in Stewart County Georgia, to the late Albert Bradshaw Senior and Mary Ann Spriggs Bradshaw.
He is preceded in death by both of his parents; his wife, Carolyn Bradshaw; two sons, Eddie Bradshaw and Victor Bradshaw.
Junior is survived by his son, Rusty (Angel) Bradshaw of Lumpkin, Georgia; three brothers, Leonard Bradshaw, Walter Bradshaw, William Bradshaw; one sister, Betty Jean Hartley; and his grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Junior was a self-employed mechanic, working on small engines and lawn mowers. He had a gift to make any motor run! He worked for years at Longleaf Lumber Company as a millwright. On the weekends Junior would take Rusty with him to the mill to show him how the mill ran. Junior enjoyed working in Rusty's Grocery Store where he would cut meat and visit with his customers.
He loved his grandchildren and spending time with them. Junior enjoyed listening to music. He always kept you smiling and never met a stranger. He found joy in helping others. He had a love for his cigars and he always wore his cap.
Junior was called home on Sunday morning to be with his loving wife Carolyn, who preceded him in death several years ago.
Junior was a member of the Lumpkin United Methodist Church in Lumpkin, Georgia, and was a Military Veteran.
A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 11:00 AM, at Northside Cemetery in Lumpkin, Georgia. The family will visit with friends after the service. Brother Robert Orr will conduct the service.
